Christmas Swiss Tournament
This Tournament has been postponed as there are only 6 players free this week!
BEA Update 28.11.17
Team Captain Pat Scanlan returned to the fold to lead his team to a 3.5-1.5 win over Naomh Barróg on Saturday last. This was a tremendous performance with 2 wins and 3 draws. Oliver Gaynor and Adam Churchill were the victors, with Cillian Howlett, Frank Pentony and Pat Scanlan all drawing their games.
Our next match is away to Inchicore on 13th January 2018.
O’Hanlon Update 27.11.17
Its a 3-3 draw following a grueling match against Malahide at the weekend. Despite releasing two players to sub on the 1st team, we still managed to field a full squad. John Doyle and James McConville subbed up from the BEA with John drawing his game. Team captain Sean Cummins and Paddy McDonnell both won their games and Eoin Murphy drew on board 3. This result moves the team to 3rd place just one point behind league leaders Elm Mount, and half a point behind Dublin in 2nd place
Our next match is at home on 13th January against Royal Lopez.
Ennis Update 25.11.17
Its 4-0 to Drogheda after a top class performance in Rathmines on Saturday. Our victors were Kieran Rogers, Martynas Gudauskas, Donal O’Boyle, and Brendan Corrigan, with the 2 remaining games to be played on Thursday next. Regardless of the result of these matches, this result puts us top of the table at year end. Skerries have played a match less, interestingly our next match is away to Skerries on 13th January 2018.
Bring it on!
Triple Play Saturday Success
2 wins (Ennis 4-0 and BEA 3.5-1.5) and a draw is a good return from the 3 league matches played on Saturday last. The games analysis is P15, W8, D5, L2, which is a brilliant return, with 2 games still to be played. Well done to all concerned.
